Petty Tings EP Cover
9x12 Traditional mixed-media painting for a single EP for an independent artist. This illustration was created using watercolor, colored pencils, alcohol markers, and gouache paint. This painting was personally special as the musician has brought inspiration to my art long before we got into contact. This project also became the largest push to pursue a degree in Visual Communication Design.
Context
This artwork was made to be displayed as the cover for a single EP "Petty Tings" by an independent artist. This illustration is currently viewable on most music streaming services, including Apple Music and Youtube Music.
Concepts
This project began with a traditional graphite sketch that was transferred to the digital program, Procreate, to create a color pallet and refine details within the sketch to be transferred back to traditional watercolor paper.
